I totally enjoyed my pupils enthusiasm and the comaraderie that we developed as colleagues. We would be advised by management if there is any important information we needed e.g alteration to the schedule for snack or if we had to use an alternative room etc.I strongly believe the hardest part of the day was keeping the lesson in the allotted time slot to be finished by 12 noon.This was because there were times when pupils were obviously enjoying the lessons and we had to stop, or move on to the next requirement per the program. I worked with 6 and 7th graders ,but my first week i worked with the 2 nd graders,this exposed me to the staff at different levels.The pupils were disciplined and very respectful and contributed in a positive way to a relaxed enjoyable work culture.Ī typical day consisted of us arriving at work signing in and then walking our pupils to our classroom. The staff was professional and helpful.It was the best school i worked of the four schools that i was exposed to during my tenure with this program over the past three year(summer).
